This is the daily wordle thread for the nyt version of wordle. On wordle there is ability to play using "hard mode" which requires player to use any revealed hints in subsequent guesses. Jan 7, 2022the conclusion is that wordle mostly handles repeated letter as you'd expect it to, but there's an interesting design quirk when your guess repeats letters and none of them are in the right.

Apr 21, 2024so if you see a particular wordle answer on the list and you don't understand what makes it "better" than many of the words left out it simply was because one guy felt differently. The official original wordle and the official new york times version both check a valid word list client-side. Jan 20, 2023is it though?

If your first guess is agile and your second is birth, then there are 344 words in the wordle solution list that are "obvious".
